(Grades 7-10, rising)
Bonjour! Would you like to discover France in a fun way? Explore interesting characteristics of the culture, and use the French language to communicate your feelings. Enjoy learning about beautiful landscapes, and the various aspects of another Western civilization, including French food, sports, music, cartoons, and more through games and group activities! Travel through the “City of Lights” and the most beautiful French provinces. Build useful everyday vocabulary to be able to express yourself when you will be traveling in a francophone country. Along the way, you will create a journal that details your experiences. The class concludes on Friday with a special presentation for family and friends. No prior of knowledge of French is necessary. Please bring a notebook and pen to each class. Instructor: Laurent Zunino, M.A., French instructor, Foreign Language Academy.
