
Leadership 101
(Grades 7-12, rising)
Have you ever wondered why your personality is so different from those of your friends, family, and teachers? Do you want to learn how to get along better with others, communication skills for every situation, and what makes a great leader? Spend a fun week learning about how your personality type and conflict style can help you be the best leader you can be. Learn more about yourself than you ever thought possible and get along better with your parents, friends, teachers, and others for a lifetime of effective communication skills and leadership. All materials will be provided. Parents are invited on Friday to see first hand all you have learned. A DVD and packet of materials will be given to each student to take home to remember their time. Instructor: Laura Arnett Smith, M.S., communication studies. Smith teaches communication studies at UT.
