Make Your Own Movie:
Filming & Editing Digital Video
(Grades 8-12, rising)

Have you ever wanted to be the director of your own feature film? Are you the next Steven Spielberg? This course will teach you how to film, edit, add sound and effects, and publish your own iMovie. In this class, we will use iMovie to capture and edit your film and Garageband to make your very own music soundtrack in a Mac lab. You will need to bring your own digital video camera for this course. At the end of this class, we will showcase our movies and have a feature film festival! Please bring a CD-RW to class with you. This is a rewritable CD so you will be able to keep your work. Instructor: Jeff Beard, B.S., business administration; UT graduate student, instructional technology.
