Design A Web Page!
(Grades 8-12, rising)
Would you like to create your own personalized Web site that showcases you, your friends, pets, and hobbies? This course will teach you how to create a multiple-page Web site and upload it to a server. Let those creative juices flow as you use color, pictures, and text to make your pages come alive. In this class, we will use Macromedia Dreamweaver to create your Web pages, Adobe Photoshop to capture and manipulate your images, and the Internet and scanners in a PC lab. Be sure to bring any photos of your favorite things–such as your friends and pets–with you to class so that your Web page will be a showcase featuring you as the star! Please bring a CD-RW to class with you. This is a rewritable CD so you will be able to keep your work.
