University of Tennessee Photography Certificate

The University of Tennessee's non-credit Photography Certificate provides fundamental and specialty skills for achieving success in the growing field of photography and related professions.

Explore your interest in photography as a hobby or for professional growth and development.

Developed by a committee of Knoxville photographers, these courses will provide the opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing skills in this rapidly changing field.

To qualify for the certificate, you must complete the required Fundamentals of Photography course and choose five additional courses offered from fall, winter, spring and summer selections. Students have three years to complete the certificate program.

A minimum of 75 percent attendance is required for all certificate candidates.

Fundamentals of Digital Photography II (begins June 9; $199)

Photoshop for Photographers (begins June 9; $199)

Fundamentals of Digital Photography I (begins June 11; $199)

"Shooting for Success: How to Profit from Your Photography" Seminar - (July 11; $119)

 

Note: Courses may also be taken separately by students not in the certificate program.
